Coating Inspector – Nace Level 3 Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Coating Inspector with NACE Level 3 certification to ensure the quality and compliance of industrial and marine coating projects. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert overseeing coating applications, conducting inspections, and verifying adherence to industry standards. Your expertise will help safeguard project integrity and deliver exceptional results across a variety of challenging environments.

Coating Inspector – Nace Level 3 Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of coating and lining work on industrial and marine projects.
  • Review and verify coating applications to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Document inspection results meticulously, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to coating defects or non-conformities, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure all inspection activities conform with applicable industry standards and client requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and certification requirements.
  • Support safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on project sites.

Coating Inspector – Nace Level 3 Position Requirements:

  • NACE Level 3 (Peer Review) or SSPC QP-5 Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or marine coating inspection.
  • Strong understanding of coating materials, surface preparation, and application techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess quality objectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic project environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.

Coating Inspector – Nace Level 3 Preferred Position Requirements

  • Experience in marine or industrial coating projects.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to coating inspections.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and digital reporting systems.
