Field Machinist
Job Summary
As a Field Machinist with our company, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, utilizing your expertise in flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and more. This is a direct hire position, offering a chance to work independently and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site machining services, including flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and other related machining processes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate and precise machining
- Operate and maintain various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and complete projects
- Travel between Texas and California as required to complete projects and provide services
Requirements
- Proven experience in flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and other related machining processes
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
