Job Summary
We are seeking a Mate to be responsible for the safety of the vessel including sanitation, appearance, and maintenance of all equipment and material.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the passengers on the vessel.
- Ensure all vessel operations are being executed to the highest level of expectation.
- Comply with all regulations and laws.
- Safely navigate and maintain the vessel.
- Perform inspections when needed.
- Oversee all passenger and their safety.
Requirements
- 500t Mate Merchant mariner credential
- TWIC
- STCW
- Basic Fire Fighting
- First Aid/CPR,
- Personal Survival Techniques,
- GMDSS Operator
- ARPA
- Vessel Security Officer
- Medical Care Provider
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Leadership and Management
- Bridge Resource Management
- Radar
- OMSA – SafeGulf, Lifeboatman
