Port Engineer – International Marine Operations

Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical condition and maintenance of assigned vessels, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Coordinate shipyard repairs, drydockings, and technical services with regional vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with class, flag, and international maritime regulations, including IMO standards.
- Monitor technical budgets, performance metrics, and maintenance schedules to optimize vessel uptime.
- Conduct vessel inspections and participate in audits to verify adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with global technical and operations teams to maintain consistency in standards and procedures.
- Support emergency repairs and troubleshooting activities to minimize operational disruptions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent or Port Engineer in international maritime operations.
- Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, class requirements, and international maritime standards.
- Experience working with Asian shipyards and regional suppliers is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region as needed
