Project Manager Engineering II
Job Summary
This pivotal role involves planning, executing, and ensuring the safety, engineering, procurement, construction, and customer service aspects of large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing project scope, cost, schedule, safety, and quality, supporting the company's strategic growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute safety protocols, engineering processes, procurement, construction, and customer service for major capital projects.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, safety standards, and quality assurance.
- Monitor work performance and implement effective cost controls.
- Review and develop scopes of work for potential projects within the organization.
- Support Senior Project Managers on projects valued over $50 million.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure project success and alignment with company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related Scientific field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 13 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with processes, systems, and terminology in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of tailings experience and 5 years in a leadership operational role.
- Demonstrated technical competence through design and/or operations experience in tailings storage facilities, crushed leach facilities, or process water management.
- Experience in tailings design, management, operations, water balance management, and geochemistry is highly desirable.
- Additional requirements may include travel and relevant certifications.
