Propeller Consultant Job Summary
We are seeking a Marine Propeller Manufacturing Consultant with extensive experience in propeller production, quality assurance, and machining processes. The ideal candidate is a former Mercury Marine employee (retired or available for consulting) with 5+ years of experience in marine propeller manufacturing. This role will focus on establishing manufacturing processes, implementing quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with Mercury Marine’s standards. The position requires a mix of remote and on-site consulting in Vietnam, with an expected duration of 6-12 months (flexible).
Propeller Consultant Responsibilities
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes for marine propellers.
- Establish quality control systems that align with Mercury Marine’s standards.
- Ensure compliance with marine industry quality standards and certifications.
- Guide the team in testing procedures and quality control for marine propellers.
- Assist in achieving vendor qualification requirements.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and training to the in-house team.
- Offer expertise in machining processes to optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct on-site visits in Vietnam as needed to oversee implementation.
Propeller Consultant Position Requirements
- Former Mercury Marine employee (retired or open to consulting).
- 5+ years of experience in marine propeller manufacturing.
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Assurance Management.
- Strong expertise in machining processes for marine propellers.
- Familiarity with marine industry quality standards and certifications.
- Experience with testing procedures and quality control for propeller manufacturing.
- Ability to work remotely and travel on-site to Vietnam as required.
