Senior Project Manager – Marine Power Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and execute marine projects. The ideal candidate will deliver projects on time and within budget including customer satisfaction, financial accountability, technical compliance, and quality control through management of project related activities and resources.
- Provide strategy and estimates for projects during the bid phase
- Deliver projects meeting customers schedule and technical requirements
- Deliver financial targets for revenue, margin and cash meeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- Responsible for accurate and timely billing of cost-plus fixed fee contracts recovering all costs expended monthly
- Execute the project in line with the business quality management system
- Maintain a risk register for the project addressing and mitigating technical and commercial risks
- Make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
- Report project status to the customer and internal stakeholders including, progress to schedule, technical compliance, scope change, risk and opportunities and financial health of the project
Senior Project Manager – Marine Power Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering or business discipline
- 10 years of experience in managing complex system projects in the marine industry
- Previous experience working with US Government contracts, FAR12 and/or FAR15
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional Certification
- Turnkey system projects including engineering, equipment supply, site installation activities (cabling, piping, civil work etc.) and commissioning
- Working knowledge of Primavera and SAP
