3rd Assistant Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a 3rd AE to be responsible for managing all mechanical equipment to ensure the vessel has light, heat, and power.
3rd Assistant Engineer Responsibilities
- -Ensure all water levels are maintained and that the grease cups are kept full
- Manage the speed, direction, and control of the vessel
- Record data of water levels, temp or pressure, temp of equipment, and fuel consumed
- Always be aware of manual controls and override automatic controls to move equipment into operating ranges
- Assist and participate in all drills and emergency procedures
- Always assist in the loading and unloading of luggage
3rd Assistant Engineer Position Requirements
- Previous Offshore Experience
- USCG Medical
- USCG MMC
- Driver's License
- TWIC Card or TWIC Renewal Receipt
- Visa Sponsorship Not Available
3rd Assistant Engineer Preferred Requirements
- T-HUET / BOSIET / FOET
