Assistant Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable professional for the Assistant Engineer role, a critical position that plays a vital part in ensuring operational excellence and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Stand watch at the engine room during maneuvering and at sea
- Troubleshoot and repair. Keep record of all modifications
- Operate equipment and systems as necessary
- Fully understand emergency procedures for generators, bilge pump, fire pump, and the steering gear
- Perform inspections and routine tests
