Crane Mechanic
Job Summary
We are seeking a Crane Mechanic to perform all maintenance checks and fixes any and all mechanical problems that arise. You must be able to develop and maintain maintenance schedules and keep excellent repair records.
Responsibilities
- Uphold RESOLVE’s commitment to safety.
- Maintain and repair cranes and other equipment as needed.
- Determine overall condition of machines through inspections.
- Diagnose issues with Friction Cranes, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Restore equipment to working order.
- Exhibit positive and effective interaction with other RESOLVE associates, vendors, and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work performed.
- Physical effort and dexterity is required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools.
- Be familiar with the compliance requirements for OSHA, ANSI, and all local, state, and federal regulation.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Technical or associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics, diesel mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics, preferred.
- 5-7 years of mechanic or oiler experience
- Friction Crane mechanic experience.
- TWIC or be able to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- Current or able to obtain a national certified Crane Operator license.
- NCCIC A/D Director Certification
- Lifting Director Certification
- Rigging/Forklift Operator Certifications
- Fall Protection Awareness
- OSHA 10 Hour (US employees)
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER
- 8 Hour HAZWOPER
- First, Aid CPR, AED
