Day Porter

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related cleaning and maintenance requests throughout the day
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors across all areas
- Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, and other surfaces
- Clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and restock supplies as needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners to maintain cleanliness
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to ensure clarity and shine
- Respond swiftly to additional cleaning or maintenance needs as they arise
- Perform other related duties to support facility operations
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Knowledge and adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work in varied environments such as offices, schools, medical facilities, or commercial spaces
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on location needs
