Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO)

Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced DPO who knows how to keep a rig steady when it matters. This role is all about control, awareness, and calm execution in a high-tempo offshore environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Stand DP watch, maintain position during drilling and marine operations, and work closely with the bridge team, marine crew, and drilling department to keep everything running safely and smoothly.
  • Expect active involvement in DP trials, checklists, fault response, and close coordination during critical operations.
  • When things change, you’re the one expected to stay sharp and ahead of it.
  • This is a hands-on position for someone who takes ownership of the watch, respects procedure without being robotic, and understands the responsibility that comes with running DP on a drillship or semi.

 

Requirements:

  • Up to date Resume with relevant experience
  • USCG MMC
  • USCG Medical Certificate with valid STCW
  • Foreign Flag License 
  • DP Certificate
  • THUET/BOSIET/FOET
  • RigPass/SafeGulf
  • TWIC
  • Government issued ID
