Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO)
Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced DPO who knows how to keep a rig steady when it matters. This role is all about control, awareness, and calm execution in a high-tempo offshore environment.
Responsibilities:
- Stand DP watch, maintain position during drilling and marine operations, and work closely with the bridge team, marine crew, and drilling department to keep everything running safely and smoothly.
- Expect active involvement in DP trials, checklists, fault response, and close coordination during critical operations.
- When things change, you’re the one expected to stay sharp and ahead of it.
- This is a hands-on position for someone who takes ownership of the watch, respects procedure without being robotic, and understands the responsibility that comes with running DP on a drillship or semi.
Requirements:
- Up to date Resume with relevant experience
- USCG MMC
- USCG Medical Certificate with valid STCW
- Foreign Flag License
- DP Certificate
- THUET/BOSIET/FOET
- RigPass/SafeGulf
- TWIC
- Government issued ID
