DPO
Job Summary
The DPO is responsible for operating and maintaining the dynamic positioning (DP) system onboard our vessel or offshore installation. They ensure the safe and efficient positioning of the vessel or installation during critical operations, such as drilling, subsea construction, or offshore production.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of awareness to all operations and power systems
- Complete all logs, forms, and check sheet in an efficient manner
- Assist in the training of assistant DPOs
- Operate the manual DP controls when needed
- Troubleshoot the DP system when needed
Requirements
- Previous Offshore Experience
- Driver’s License or Passport
- Current STCW on USCG Medical
- USCG MMC
- Current DP Certificate
- Covid Vaccination
- Preferred Requirements: T-HUET / BOSIET / FOET
