Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team supporting offshore drilling operations on a drillship or offshore platform. This vital role ensures the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems critical to drilling and marine activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including generators, switchboards, motors, lighting, and drilling equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues promptly and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure all electrical systems operate reliably and safely.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and technical teams to support ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting electrical systems on offshore drilling platforms or similar environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to safety procedures.
- Certifications including Raw Job Description, CompEx Certificate, THUET / BOSIET / FOET, RigPass / SafeGulf, TWIC, and Government Issued ID.
- Valid offshore medical certification.
