Hydraulics Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydraulics Technician to join our team. As a key member of our marine service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, conducting routine maintenance and repairs on marine equipment, and working closely with our team to ensure projects are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct service calls, inland and/or offshore majors, and surveys
- Maintain a high level of communication and service to customers
- Responsible for equipment and consumables for job and any items to complete the task(s) asked of them
- Responsible for cleanliness of the technician vehicle
- Responsible for helping to keep shop area clean
- Work with leadership team to schedule and manage repair and re-man projects
- Responsible for inventory and recording of parts and paperwork
- Collaborate with other employees, management, and customers in a professional manner
Requirements:
- High School or GED Diploma
- TWIC Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the marine service industry
- Good communications skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to 25 feet in height
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and work above head for extended periods of time
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to operate marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Previous experience in the electrical service industry
