Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in managing and optimizing our global inventory system. This position involves coordinating material deliveries, overseeing incoming items from various locations, and supporting internal stakeholders with inventory parts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of performing well-defined tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory accuracy across our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm material deliveries from different regions or suppliers by executing goods receipt postings in the ERP system and delivering materials to the designated location (60%)
  • Maintain oversight of incoming items from global locations, consolidating and resolving related issues (10%)
  • Provide requested inventory parts to internal customers and record transactions accurately (10%)
  • Support loading and unloading of goods to ensure efficient handling of materials (10%)
  • Participate in regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels (10%)
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall inventory management and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Vocational training, apprenticeship, or similar education in warehouse operations or a related field is required
  • Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, and air) is preferred
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation certifications are preferred
  • Experience with load securing methods is advantageous
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory roles is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in production and manufacturing processes is desirable
  • Experience working in an international and culturally diverse environment is a plus.
