Make Ready Technician
Job Summary
In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing apartment homes for new residents by efficiently completing unit turns while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Complete apartment unit turns, including interior painting (full and touch-up), trash-outs, and general cleaning.
- Perform minor repairs such as fixtures, doors, cabinets, and blinds.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks as needed to ensure units are move-in ready within scheduled timelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of make ready, general labor, or related experience; multifamily experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-turn environment.
- Working knowledge of painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering quality work within deadlines.
