Senior Buyer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services, maintaining compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Your expertise will support our ongoing projects and operational needs, contributing to the overall success of our organization’s supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct procurement activities in accordance with established cost, time, and quality standards.
- Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and support vendors during bid preparation.
- Prepare bid tabulations and lead negotiations with suppliers.
- Manage purchase orders and subcontracts from initiation to completion.
- Follow up on bid processes, negotiate revisions, and ensure contractual compliance.
- Review technical documentation and manage contractual documentation.
- Ensure adherence to procurement procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor communications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor relations.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, contract management, and vendor management.
- Experience with INCOTERMS and familiarity with SAP or similar procurement tools.
