Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse in Trinidad and Tobago. This vital role involves receiving, inspecting, storing, organizing, and issuing materials and equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory records. The Warehouse Assistant plays a key part in supporting daily supply chain activities, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment, and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment.
- Store and organize inventory efficiently within the warehouse.
- Issue materials and supplies accurately to internal teams or external clients.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Prepare materials for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Follow all company procedures, health, and safety requirements.
- Support daily warehouse operations and supply chain activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and tools safely.
- Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures diligently.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
