Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled AB Riggers to join our offshore operations team. In this vital role, you will assist with rigging, lifting, and securing cargo and equipment during vessel operations. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of offshore activities, supporting crane operations, cargo handling, and deck activities in compliance with safety procedures and maritime regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical offshore projects on a 28-day rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with rigging, lifting, and securing cargo and equipment during offshore vessel operations.
- Perform inspections of rigging gear, including slings, shackles, and lifting accessories, to ensure safety and suitability for use.
- Support crane operations, cargo handling, and deck activities in accordance with lifting plans and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the deck crew to coordinate operations and ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in rigging and offshore cargo handling.
- Knowledge of rigging gear inspection and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed lifting plans and maritime safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Relevant offshore certifications and medical clearance (if applicable).
- Willingness to work on a 28-day offshore rotation.
