Responsibilities
- Hold and maintain a valid state architect’s license.
- Demonstrate proficiency in architectural drawings and city submittal processes.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for production of construction documents, with at least 10 years of related experience.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, supervising project teams as needed.
- Possess strong knowledge of city submittal procedures and consultant coordination.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of building assemblies, architectural detailing, and code compliance, including ADA requirements.
- Manage small to medium-sized project designs from conception through completion.
- Conduct site feasibility studies and early-stage development planning for industrial campuses.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams during site development, including coordinating civil, environmental, and wildlife consultants.
- Review conceptual designs from international clients for compliance with IBC and local zoning codes.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for cost assessment and contractor quotations.
- Lead design coordination meetings and facilitate field observations, preparing field observation reports.
- Manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
- Assist in providing cost estimates and man-hour projections for various projects.
- Conduct IBC training sessions for headquarters staff as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in safety programs, reporting unsafe conditions, and supporting HSE initiatives.
- For advanced technology projects, support site development planning and supervise multidisciplinary project teams.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and the city’s submittal process.
- Excellent record-keeping skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferably a NAAB-accredited architecture degree.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience producing architectural drawings and managing projects.
- Ability to move around the office and conduct site visits as necessary.
- Capable of operating office machinery, including computers, copy machines, and printers.
- Safety-conscious with adherence to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to participate in site safety initiatives and support HSE activities.
