Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and support machinery.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to enhance equipment longevity and reduce downtime.
- Inspect equipment for safety compliance and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment status and issues to supervisors.
- Support yard operations by ensuring equipment is prepared and available for marine construction and dredging projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on heavy equipment diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Experience with construction or marine equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in a yard environment with safety awareness and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
