Engineering Manager- Civil/Structurtal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager – Civil/Structural to lead our civil and structural engineering design team in the successful delivery of complex capital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the Civil/Structural engineering design team through all project phases, from planning and design to execution.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and enforce standards, codes, and best practices across projects to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Oversee engineering processes, systems, and software setup, conducting quality audits for adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, construction, and operations teams to align project execution and mitigate risks.
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and schedule management, ensuring effective team structure and performance.
  • Guide project-level deliverables, budgets, and schedules, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Support safety initiatives and contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering field, with at least 8 years managing design teams on large-scale projects.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of engineering systems, design principles, and materials.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering applications.
  • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and organize complex projects with multiple interdependencies.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
  • Professional engineering licensure is preferred.
