Floorhand
We're looking for an experienced Floorhand for a hitch onboard a deepwater offshore drillship operating in the Gulf. Previous drillship experience is required.
This is a hands-on role on the drill floor supporting all phases of drilling operations. You'll be working with the drilling crew handling tubulars, making up and breaking out drill pipe, operating iron roughnecks, slips, elevators, tongs, and other drill floor equipment while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Candidates should be comfortable assisting with BHA handling, tripping pipe, mud system support, deck operations, and routine maintenance of drilling equipment.
We're looking for someone who understands the pace of offshore drilling, communicates well with the crew, follows procedures, and can safely work around heavy equipment and suspended loads in a 24/7 operation.
