Midstream Project Associate

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Midstream Project Associate and play a vital role in advancing engineering and construction projects within the natural gas, liquids, and petrochemical industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical excellence and seamless coordination across disciplines. Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical design and engineering oversight of project scope from initial phases through to project completion.
  • Review process equipment, assist in vendor selection, and coordinate subcontractor services to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Develop and review design documents, including piping and instrumentation diagrams, valve specifications, piping definitions, and equipment specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering disciplines, field construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure sound engineering practices.
  • Participate actively in customer reviews and project meetings.
  • Travel up to 30% to project sites as needed to oversee field activities and conduct quality assurance reviews both in-office and on-location.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management/Technology.
  • Ability to create and review design drawings and calculations.
  • Experience with full-scope project responsibilities from FEED phase to mechanical completion.
  • Knowledge of pipe design codes such as ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and B31.12.
  • Experience reviewing static and rotating equipment.
  • Working knowledge of material specifications and industrial construction practices.
  • Familiarity with construction and engineering economics.
  • Previous leadership experience in project settings.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to project sites.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience in midstream or petrochemical project environments.
