Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Oilers/Motormen to join our offshore team, responsible for supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of vessel engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment. This vital role ensures the safe and efficient functioning of offshore vessels through routine checks, machinery monitoring, lubrication, and preventive maintenance. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment, contributing to the smooth operation of offshore projects on a 28-day rotation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, inspection, and maintenance of vessel engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform routine checks and monitor machinery performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Lubricate equipment and assist with preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the engine room.
- Report equipment issues promptly to the engineering team for resolution.
- Follow all safety procedures and maritime regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in offshore vessel operations, maintenance, or related roles.
- Knowledge of engine and machinery systems used in maritime environments.
- Ability to perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and maritime regulations.
- Valid offshore medical certification and relevant safety training (e.g., BOSIET/FOET/T-HUET).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder preferred.
