Riggers – Short-Term Project
Job Summary:
We are seeking four experienced Riggers for a short-term project in Guyana. This vital role involves supporting rigging and lifting operations to ensure the safe and efficient handling of heavy loads. The project is scheduled to commence during the week of August 24, 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 2 to 3 days. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled riggers to contribute to a high-impact operation in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support approximately 40 rigging and lifting operations throughout the project duration.
- Rig large rubber hoses using a spreader beam to facilitate safe lifting and placement.
- Assist with the safe lifting, positioning, and handling of loads.
- Secure hoses inside containers utilizing ratchet straps.
- Aid in rigging containers with spreader beams and slings to ensure stability.
- Maintain clear communication with the crane operator during all lifting activities.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety guidelines and lifting procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in rigging and lifting operations.
- Strong knowledge of safe rigging and lifting practices, including slings, shackles, and spreader beams.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with crane operators and team members.
- Safety-conscious attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a rigging crew.
- Availability during the week of August 24, 2026.
- No specific client certification required.
