Roustabout
We’re looking for an experienced Roustabout to join the deck crew aboard a modern offshore drilling unit. This position is responsible for supporting daily deck operations, cargo handling, equipment maintenance, and general rig activities while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo, tubulars, and drilling equipment.
- Operate and maintain deck equipment, including winches, cranes (as assigned), forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Perform rigging, slinging, and lifting operations under the direction of supervisors.
- Maintain housekeeping throughout the deck, work areas, and storage locations.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain deck machinery, lifting gear, hoses, and associated equipment.
- Assist with mooring operations, supply boat transfers, and helicopter deck support as required.
- Support maintenance projects, painting, preservation, and corrosion control activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and company policies while participating in emergency drills and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous offshore drilling experience as a Roustabout preferred.
- Valid BOSIET/FOET or THUET.
- RigPass or SafeGulf.
- Current offshore medical.
- TWIC and valid government-issued ID or passport.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying offshore conditions.
We’re looking for someone who can step onboard with minimal supervision, work safely as part of the deck crew, and contribute to the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the rig.
