Scheduler
Job Summary
This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with construction management, engineering teams, general contractors, and subcontractors to develop, maintain, and report on project schedules. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the baseline project schedule, updating it weekly for owner, architect, and contractor meetings.
- Prepare comprehensive project progress reports, integrating subcontractor look-ahead schedules into the master schedule, and revising logic sequences as needed.
- Assist the project team in monitoring and maintaining the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
- Generate various reports including progress charts, histograms, S-curves, work intensity curves, labor-production work rate tables, time impact analyses, equipment delivery schedules, resource-cost loaded schedules, and daily construction activity reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Oracle P6 scheduling software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within teams and matrix organizations.
- Competence in reading and interpreting construction documents.
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Demonstrates self-motivation, maturity, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and project management processes.
