DCS/SIS Upgrade – Technical Assurance & QA/QC Specialists
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Technical Assurance and QA/QC Specialists to support a major industrial system modernization project involving DCS/SIS upgrades within the oil & gas and industrial automation sectors. This contract-based role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical control systems enhancements in a high-stakes environment. The successful candidates will play a key part in ensuring project quality, safety compliance, and system integrity.
Responsibilities
- Review engineering specifications, technical documentation, inspection and test plans, and commissioning procedures.
- Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Integration Tests (SIT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop checks, and functional testing independently.
- Support verification activities related to DCS/SIS upgrades, safety interlocks, shutdown systems, and control-system migration.
- Participate in technical readiness reviews, commissioning verification, and project quality assurance processes.
- Monitor technical non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed technical inspection, verification, and assurance reports.
- Ensure adherence to relevant engineering, quality, and functional safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Relevant engineering degree, technical qualification, or recognized professional certification.
- Proven experience in industrial automation, control systems, instrumentation, functional safety, or technical quality assurance.
- Demonstrated involvement in DCS/SIS projects, FAT/SAT, commissioning, or brownfield industrial upgrades.
- Familiarity with standards such as IEC 61511, IEC 62381, and IEC 62443.
- Experience with Honeywell Experion, C300, Safety Manager, or related control-system technologies is advantageous.
- Strong technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in the oil and gas, gas processing, LNG, petrochemical, or similar industrial environments.
- Willingness to work within a project team and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
