Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of welding activities and completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
- Verify that welding operations adhere to approved procedures, project specifications, and relevant industry codes.
- Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and supporting quality documentation.
- Identify and report non-conformances or workmanship concerns promptly.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive inspection reports.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams, quality assurance personnel, and site staff.
- Comply with all offshore health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements.
Requirements
- Valid AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or an accepted equivalent.
- Proven welding inspection experience in offshore, marine, oil and gas, or heavy industrial environments.
- Valid BOSIET or TBOSIET certification.
- Valid offshore medical certification.
- Valid passport and all documentation required for offshore mobilization.
- Strong knowledge of welding inspection practices, procedures, and applicable industry standards.
- Availability to work offshore in Trinidad and Tobago.
