Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mate (DP Advanced / Unlimited) to join our offshore operations team. In this vital role, you will assist the Master in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, including navigation, watchkeeping, cargo handling, and compliance with maritime safety regulations. Your expertise in operating and monitoring Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems will be essential in maintaining the vessel’s position during offshore activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging environment, contributing to complex offshore projects on a 28-day rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Operate and monitor Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems to maintain vessel stability during offshore operations.
- Conduct navigation and watchkeeping duties in accordance with maritime safety standards.
- Oversee cargo operations and ensure proper handling procedures are followed.
- Supervise deck activities as required, maintaining safety and operational standards.
- Ensure all navigational equipment and safety systems are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate vessel records and logs throughout operations.
- Comply with all maritime safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Appropriate Mate certification (DP Advanced / Unlimited).
- Proven experience in offshore vessel operations.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems.
- Ability to operate and supervise navigation, cargo, and safety procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work offshore on a 28-day rotation.
- Valid medical certification and safety training as required for offshore work.
